Supporting those who are or have been, hurt by their families

I help individuals who are going through family difficulties and want to heal their lives.

  • This could be difficulties with both or one of your parents
  • Your adult children
  • Or even your siblings

I am an experienced and qualified Therapist also with personal experience in this area.

The Ethos here is not about saying the road to healing would be easy. Or do I make claims that with just one technique within 21 days you would feel better? For many of us, it takes a package of things to take will heal our Minds as well as our emotions, our bodies, and our spirit that was broken through our experiences.

Our environment is also important because we are affected by what and who is in our environment and vice versa.

If you can gather from what I have said so far, I adhere to the Holistic approach that takes care of the whole of you. I take this approach for my own life and it works for me and for the clients that I have supported over the years.

My own Healing Journey

I was in therapy when I distinctly told my therapist that I hated being quiet, over-sensitive, and insightful. I just didn’t like what I sensed and felt about people. Because of this I wanted to keep my distance and for many years, I had built a brick wall up.

My Therapist challenged my thoughts on what I believed about myself to be wrong and ask if I could use those qualities and those life experiences.

This pricked my imagination but it still took me a while to do anything about it.

However,  just knowing what I wanted to do with my life was all that I needed to change my life.

It wasn’t a straight road from that light bulb moment to now. There have been many ups and downs. Thousands of times when I had doubted and feared then felt that I was more comfortable where I was.

It was tough at times but there comes a point where you look back and just realise that you are different now. Things are better.

Also, I know I didn’t just rely on the two great therapists that I had. I read a lot of books and listened to a ton of videos and podcasts, and worksheets over many decades.

That sort of ties in with what I am hoping to provide here. A central safe place where you could learn about why you are you. Then learn some great tools and strategies so you can live the life you deserve.

My Experience and Qualifications

I started out first with partial completion of a Psychology Degree which I started in 2003. I finished it but couldn’t afford to finish paying for it at the time.
